Works with Klaviyo

Keep Klaviyo. Change the form.

BetterPopup is not a replacement for Klaviyo — it is a replacement for the form. One popup, aimed at the right visitor, feeding every provider your store runs, with subscribers still landing in your Klaviyo lists in real time.

First, the case for keeping what you have.

Klaviyo's built-in forms are good, and most pages like this one pretend otherwise. They do popups, flyouts, embeds, banners and full-page forms. They trigger on scroll, on a timer, and on exit intent — on mobile as well as desktop. They A/B test. They do spin-to-win. They ship more templates than we do, and they cost you nothing on top of Klaviyo.

If Klaviyo is the only place your subscribers need to go, keep using Klaviyo Forms. You will not get your money's worth here. The rest of this page is about the case where that stops being true.

Where a Klaviyo-shaped form runs out.

Three limits that are structural, not missing features.

A signup can only go to Klaviyo

If your store runs Attentive or Postscript for SMS, or Omnisend or Mailchimp alongside Klaviyo, each one needs its own form. BetterPopup captures once and fans the subscriber out to all 6 providers you have connected.

Suppression only sees Klaviyo

Klaviyo can hide a form from an existing Klaviyo profile. It cannot know that someone already opted into your SMS list somewhere else. An audience here can look for the marketing cookies of 7 providers and withhold the popup accordingly.

The forms belong to the account

Your forms, their targeting and their history live inside Klaviyo. Change email platform and you rebuild the capture layer from scratch. Here the popups are separate from the provider they feed.

Every Klaviyo capability above is taken from Klaviyo's own documentation, read on 17 August 2026: klaviyo.com/features/web-forms and help.klaviyo.com — Getting started with sign-up forms. Klaviyo ships changes often — if something here has gone out of date, tell us and we will correct it.

Nothing about your Klaviyo account changes.

Connect Klaviyo once and pick the list. A visitor opts in, confirms, and the profile is written straight into that list with consent recorded — so your flows, segments and automations fire the way they always have. Connect any of the others and the same signup reaches them in the same moment.

What it costs on top of Klaviyo.

Priced on your traffic, not on a feature checklist.

A store up to 20,000 unique monthly visitors is $100 a month, and every bracket includes the whole platform — all 30 templates, every trigger, every audience rule, A/B testing, and all 6 integrations. This is on top of Klaviyo, not instead of it, and it is the honest reason to stay on Klaviyo Forms if one destination is all you need.

Klaviyo forms, answered straight.

Including the ones where the answer is “keep Klaviyo”.

Yes. Klaviyo's built-in sign-up forms cover popups, flyouts, embedded forms, banners and full-page forms, with targeting, exit intent, A/B testing and spin-to-win. If those are doing the job for you, keep them — they are included in what you already pay Klaviyo.

Because Klaviyo Forms only ever ends in Klaviyo. If your store also runs Attentive or Postscript for SMS, or Omnisend or Mailchimp alongside, every one of those needs its own form, its own targeting and its own suppression rules. BetterPopup is one popup that feeds all 6 at once and can hide itself from someone who already subscribed through any of them.

Yes — that is the point. Connect Klaviyo once and every confirmed signup is written into the list you choose, with consent, in real time. Your existing flows, segments and automations fire exactly as they do now.

Only if you leave both switched on for the same visitors. The usual move is to turn the Klaviyo form off once the BetterPopup one is live, or to keep Klaviyo's embedded footer form and let BetterPopup own the popup. Both tools have their own frequency rules, so neither can silence the other for you.

For a Klaviyo-only stack, few — this is a capable form builder and it is bundled. The structural limit is that it is Klaviyo-shaped: a signup can only be delivered to Klaviyo, suppression only knows about Klaviyo profiles, and the forms are part of your Klaviyo account rather than something you keep if you move.

In Klaviyo, open Sign-up forms, pick the form, and set its status to Draft — it stops appearing immediately. Do that after your replacement popup is published, not before, so there is no window where the store is capturing nothing.

Usually one of four things: the form is still in draft, its targeting excludes you (existing Klaviyo profiles are hidden by default), its frequency rule is suppressing it after an earlier close, or an ad blocker is stopping the script. Klaviyo's own docs call out ad blockers explicitly.

Yes. Turn on the app embed in your theme editor and publish — no theme code, no Liquid. Klaviyo's own Shopify integration keeps running alongside it untouched.

One popup. Every list you run.

Klaviyo included, and still exactly where your subscribers land.
