Written by one of them, which is a conflict of interest we cannot design away — so the ordering is by published price, every figure links to its source, and three of the five recommendations point somewhere else.
Merchants mostly find popup apps inside the Shopify App Store, where ranking depends on installs, reviews and recency rather than on pages like this one. Three of the top results for this search are App Store pages. If you are choosing an app, the review counts there will tell you more than any vendor comparison, this one included.
Ours is seventh of nine.
| App | Entry price | Best for | Shopify |

| OptiMonksource | Free, then $19/mo | A real free tier that is not feature-crippled | Listed on the App Store |

| Aliasource | $200/mo Basic; $400/mo Fully managed | The managed, quiz-and-personalisation end of the category | Listed on the App Store |
| Wisepopssource | From €499/mo, quoted after a demo | Notification bars, web push and embeds alongside popups | Available, enterprise-oriented |
Every price read from the vendor’s own pricing page on 18 August 2026. Vendors change pricing without notice and several quote only after a demo — treat this as a starting point, not a quote.
Three of these five are not us.
Both publish genuine free tiers. We do not have one, so we are the wrong answer to this question and there is no version of it where we are not.
It captures the signup and sends the campaigns on one bill. We only do the capture and hand off — if you have nothing to hand off to, that is a gap, not a feature.
Notification bars, web push, embedded forms and a personalised feed. We ship one modal. At €499 a month it is a different budget, but it is also a different product.
One popup writes to all 6 connected providers, and audiences read marketing cookies from 7 of them so someone who joined via SMS is not shown the email signup next week.
A/B testing, all triggers, all audience rules and all 5 games are on the entry plan. Several tools here tier split testing two levels up, which changes the real price you are comparing.
Including why you should not fully trust this page.
It depends on which constraint binds. For a free tier, OptiMonk or Poptin. For popups and email from one vendor, Privy. For the widest channel set, Wisepops. For a stack split across several providers, BetterPopup. Any page that answers this question with a single name — including one written by a vendor, as this is — is telling you about its own product rather than your situation. Prices read from each vendor's own page on 18 August 2026.
The Shopify app is built and tested, but the App Store listing is not published yet, so you cannot install it from there today. We would rather say that than leave you to discover it. The popup itself installs on Shopify by script in the meantime, and cart conditions read store state.
Across the apps above, published entry prices run from free to €499 a month, with most between $19 and $59. What varies more than the number is the billing unit — pageviews, unique visitors, email contacts, or campaign impressions — so two apps at the same headline price can differ several-fold on the same store. Ours is $100 a month for up to 20,000 unique monthly visitors.
Not necessarily. Klaviyo's own forms are genuinely capable and included in what you already pay, and if Klaviyo is the only place your subscribers need to land it is a reasonable default. A dedicated app earns its place when you need targeting or suppression that spans more than one provider, or formats the built-in forms do not offer.
Any app script has a cost. Look for an async loader that does not block rendering, and check it yourself with a page-speed test before and after installing — that measurement beats any vendor's claim, including ours. Apps that inject a full framework or load blocking scripts in the theme head are the ones worth avoiding.
Cautiously, and by checking it. Every price above links to the vendor's own page and carries the date it was read. The ordering is by published entry price rather than by preference, and three of the five recommendations below name a competitor rather than us. That is the most we can do about the conflict of interest; the rest is your due diligence.
