They are cheaper at the sticker price and they have a free tier. The number worth comparing is not the entry one though — it is the tier where A/B testing appears.
A genuine free tier at 5,000 pageviews, paid from $32.50 a month against our $100. They also ship sidebar, fullscreen, floating and teaser formats, and target on geo-location, browser language and operating system — none of which we do.
For one small site, start on their free plan. That is the honest recommendation and it costs you nothing to test.
Sticker prices are rarely the prices being compared.
Their pricing page lists split testing from Advanced upward — $57.50 a month on annual billing, $69 monthly. That is a normal way to build a ladder, and it is also the feature most people reach for in week two, once the first campaign is live and the obvious question is whether a different headline does better. Here, A/B testing is on the entry plan along with everything else, so the price you compare is the price you pay.
Fair caveat: if you never intend to split-test, their Basic tier really is cheaper and this argument does not apply to you.

Including whether pageview billing suits you.
Their pricing page publishes five tiers: Free at $0, Basic at $32.50 a month, Advanced at $57.50, Pro at $82.50 and Expert at $132.50, all on annual billing with a 20% discount — billed monthly those become $39, $69, $99 and $159. Price is set by monthly pageview quota and how many websites you run, from 5,000 pageviews on Free to 500,000 on Expert. Read from their own pricing page on 18 August 2026.
At the sticker price, yes — $32.50 a month against our $100, and they have a free tier where we have none. Compare what each includes before treating that as settled: A/B testing appears on their Advanced tier at $57.50, so if split testing is part of your plan the real comparison is against that number rather than the entry one.
Their pricing page lists A/B split testing from the Advanced tier upward, which is two steps above Free and one above Basic, as read on 18 August 2026. That is an ordinary way to build a pricing ladder and worth knowing about in advance, because split testing is usually something you want in the first month rather than the sixth. Here it is on every plan.
It depends entirely on your traffic shape and neither is inherently fairer. Pageview billing charges you for depth: a visitor who browses fifteen products costs fifteen times one who bounces. Unique-visitor billing charges you for reach and is indifferent to how much someone reads. A content-heavy store with engaged sessions usually pays less on visitor billing; a store with lots of one-page traffic often pays less on pageviews. Take your own analytics to both pricing pages.
More surface formats — sidebar, fullscreen, floating and teaser layouts alongside standard popups — plus geo-location, browser-language and operating-system targeting, none of which we offer. They also publish a free tier. We make one thing, a modal, and target on behaviour rather than location.
When you want every feature on the plan you actually buy, and when your subscribers are spread across several providers. All 30 templates, A/B testing, every trigger and every audience rule are on the entry plan, and audiences can read marketing cookies from 7 providers to avoid asking someone who already signed up elsewhere. On a single small site with one provider, their free plan is the sensible starting point.
